Tata Nexon EV has been the frontrunner in sales for Tata. In October 2025, Nexon sold 2,553 units. Harrier.ev was a distant second at 1,813 units. Tiago.ev and Punch.ev follow with 1,315 and 1,242 units respectively. Post that the numbers do not look good. Curvv.ev sold just 352 units and Tigor.ev with 200 units which is bought by cab fleet operators.
Let us deep dive into the top performing models for Tata.ev and check out some interesting details.

Tata Nexon EV

The Nexon Empowered+ variant is the best selling. The top trim with all the best features sells the best. But how many of these are the newly launched ADAS versions? A whooping 753 units (84.5%). Indians do love technology. But on the otherside, the base variant Nexon.ev Creative is a close second with 701 units. One possibility for this is the close price proximity with Punch EV. Those contemplating purchasing Punch, opt for the base version of Nexon due to its bigger cabin space and 45kWh battery capacity. The mid-variant Nexon.ev Fearless comes third with 611 units and the next to top variant Nexon.ev Empowered sold 347 units in October 2025.

Tata Harrier EV

The USP of Harrier EV is the AWD powertrain. The only EV to offer this in the price bracket. The Harrier.ev Empowered AWD sold 565 units as compared to 370 units of the Harrier.ev Empowered RWD. The big surprise has been that there were no buyers for the fearless variant with 65kWh battery pack. The top selling trim in singularity was the Tata Harrier.ev Fearless 75kWh with 627 units. Harrier.ev Adventure sold a total of 251 units. The base variant Adventure 64 units and Adventure S 65kWh sold 187 units in October'25.

The bigger battery capacity is preferred but not the top variant. The middle variant dominates with 845 units. 601 being the Tiago.ev XT LR and 244 units of the Tiago.ev XT MR. The top variant Tiago.ev XZ+ available only in the 24kWh battery capacity sold 387 units whereas the base variant Tiago.ev XE which is equipped with the 19.2 kWh battery sold 83 units.

Buyers prefer the non sunroof version in Punch. The sunroof version of the top trim sold 208 units as compared to 387 units of the non sunroof version. The often cited value for money variant of Punch.ev is the Punch.ev Adventure LR which sold 326 units compared to 35 units of the Punch EV Adventure MR totaling 361 units. Here too users prefer the non-sunroof version.
