Porsche Cayenne Electric Launched in India at ₹1.77 Crore

Porsche has launched the Cayenne Electric in India, bringing an all-electric powertrain to its luxury SUV range. The Cayenne Electric starts at ₹1.77 crore, including VAT, while the more powerful Cayenne Turbo Electric starts at ₹2.28 crore.

The new electric Cayenne combines Porsche's performance-focused approach with an 800-volt electrical architecture, fast charging and the practicality expected from a large SUV.

Up to 643 km of WLTP range

The Cayenne Electric uses a 113 kWh high-voltage battery and an 800V electrical system. Porsche lists a combined WLTP range of 576 km to 643 km, depending on the vehicle configuration.

The SUV uses all-wheel drive with electric motors on both axles. The standard Cayenne Electric produces up to 442 PS with Launch Control and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Its top speed is 230 km/h.

Cayenne Turbo Electric pushes performance further

The Cayenne Turbo Electric takes the performance figures considerably higher. It produces up to 1,156 PS with Launch Control, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 260 km/h.

The Turbo Electric has a combined WLTP range of 564 km to 624 km, according to Porsche's current technical data.

800V architecture enables fast charging

Fast charging is one of the key highlights of the electric Cayenne.

Porsche lists a maximum DC charging power of 390 kW, while charging power can reach up to 400 kW under specific conditions. Under the specified optimal conditions, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in around 16 minutes.

The Cayenne can also support AC charging, with 11 kW available as standard and an optional system supporting up to 22 kW.

Wireless charging available as an option

Porsche has also introduced inductive charging for the Cayenne Electric.

The Porsche Wireless Charging system uses a charging plate installed on the ground and can charge the vehicle at up to 11 kW. The system is offered as an option, with availability scheduled from the second half of 2026 at the earliest.

Practicality remains part of the package

Despite the focus on performance, Porsche has retained the Cayenne's SUV practicality.

The Cayenne Electric gets a 90-litre front luggage compartment, while Porsche lists up to 1,588 litres of luggage capacity depending on configuration. The SUV can also tow up to 3,500 kg when equipped with the optional Off-Road package.

Porsche says the Cayenne Electric combines performance with day-to-day usability, long-distance comfort and off-road capability.

Digital technology gets a bigger role

The electric Cayenne also brings a more digital cabin, with an intelligent display area and a driver-focused cockpit.

Porsche lists features such as the latest-generation sports seats, digital interfaces and connected functions as part of the cabin experience. The Porsche Digital Key is also standard equipment on the Cayenne Electric in selected Connect markets.

Porsche expands its Cayenne range with an electric option

The Cayenne Electric brings Porsche's performance-oriented approach into the luxury electric SUV segment without moving away from the practicality associated with the Cayenne nameplate.

With a ₹1.77 crore starting price, up to 643 km of WLTP range, 800V charging technology and 442 PS, the standard Cayenne Electric combines long-distance capability with Porsche's performance focus.

The Cayenne Turbo Electric takes that formula further with 1,156 PS and a 2.5-second 0-100 km/h time, while retaining the same 800V charging architecture.
