BYD India has officially expanded its electric SUV portfolio with the launch of the BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic, priced at an introductory ₹41.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Positioned as the new entry-level variant, the Dynamic trim undercuts the mid-spec Premium variant by an exact ₹9 lakh, substantially lowering the entry threshold into BYD's premium electric SUV lineup. With 3,473 new units of the Sealion 7 being registered in India till the 30th of June 2026, the introduction of this entry level variant is bound to help further increase those sales/registration numbers.

The launch is accompanied by BYD's festive ownership campaign, which bundles a complimentary 7 kW home AC wallbox charger with free installation, a 10-year roadside assistance (RSA) coverage extension, and an extended warranty of 10 years or 1,50,000 km on the low-voltage LFP battery.

Under the floor, the Sealion 7 Dynamic downsizes from the 82.56 kWh pack to a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery. Motor output drops from 230 kW to 170 kW (228 hp), though torque remains identical at 380 Nm.
Charging speeds and range are scaled accordingly, with DC fast charging peaking at 110 kW, down from 150 kW, while claimed NEDC range stands at 520 km.
