Tata Motors has rolled out extended warranty plans for the Sierra EV, with three coverage tiers priced from ₹24,999, as per a dealer communication reviewed by ElecTree.
Tata Motors has introduced extended warranty plans for the Sierra EV, with dealers now in receipt of the official pricing communication for onward customer engagement, according to a dealer notification reviewed by ElecTree.
The plans extend coverage beyond the standard 3-year OEM warranty across three tiers, each defined by additional years or a kilometre cap, whichever occurs first. Base prices (for purchases made within 90 days of the vehicle's sale date, GST included) are:
- 3+1 Year or up to 1,25,000 km: ₹24,999
- 3+2 Year or up to 1,25,000 km: ₹37,999
- 3+3 Year or up to 1,60,000 km: ₹51,999
Cost varies based on when the extended warranty is purchased relative to the vehicle's sale date. Buying within 90 days secures the lowest price across all three plans. A 10% surcharge applies for purchases made 91-180 days after sale, rising to 20% for 181-365 days, 30% for 366-730 days, and 40% for purchases made beyond 731 days.

The Sierra EV, launched at a starting price of ₹18.79 lakh, is offered with 63 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options and a MIDC-rated range of up to 665 km. The line-up includes a dual-motor QWD variant, a triple-screen cabin layout, Level 2 ADAS, and a lifetime warranty on the battery pack. Full specifications and variant-wise pricing are available on ElecTree's Sierra EV page.
