Maruti Officially Announces Price of eVitara; Undercuts Victoris Hybrid

Maruti Suzuki has officially released the prices of all the variants of electric SUV eVitara. The price which includes the battery starts from ₹15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Maruti released the BaaS price starting from ₹10.99 lakh a day prior.

Maruti Suzuki have officially announced the the price of all variants of their new eSUV the eVitara. It will come with 3 variants; Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The top trim Alpha will also come with an option of dual tone color. The ex-showroom prices are as follows

  1. eVitara Delta: ₹15.99 Lakh
  2. eVitara Zeta: ₹17.49 Lakh
  3. eVitara Alpha: ₹19.79 Lakh
  4. eVitara Alpha (DT): ₹20.01 Lakh

The Indian automobile giant had announced a day prior the price of ₹10.99 Lakh for the Delta variant under the Battery-as-a-Service scheme. The user has to pay ₹3.99 per km with 60 kilometer daily as a minimum.

The interesting thing to note is that the introductory price of the top variant Alpha, undercuts the the top variant of Maruti Suzuki's own Victoris Strong Hybrid; ZXI+(O). This gives the prospective buyer good options to choose from under the 20 lakh budget.

Main Specifications of Maruti eVitara

The eVitara comes with 2 battery options; 49kWh (Delta variant) and 61kWh (Zeta & Alpha variants). The provide an ARAI acclaimed range of 440 km and 543 km respectively. Powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor, the lower variant produces a power of 142 bhp whereas the bigger battery pack versions output 171 bhp. All variants provide 192.5 Nm of torque. The Alpha variant is equipped with 360° camera, the Zeta comes with a standard rear camera and Delta with no camera. Alpha also comes with ADAS features like Lane Keep Assist and Auto Cruise Control.

Standard features across all variants include auto headlamps, rain sensing wiper, ambient lighting, 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.11 inch infotainment system. All variants also come with 18 inch alloy wheels.
