How it compares
The Sierra EV goes up against the Hyundai Creta Electric and the Maruti Suzuki eVitara, while also slotting between Tata's own Nexon EV/Curvv EV and the Harrier EV. With two battery sizes and a spread from RWD to AWD, it covers more ground than most rivals at this price point.
It's also one of several major EV launches arriving in India through mid-2026. For more on what else is coming, see The Six Electrified Launches Defining India's Mid-2026 Car Market. Our pre-launch preview of the Sierra EV is here: Tata Sierra EV to Debut on June 30 — What to Expect.
