Mahindra BE6 New Teaser: AWD BE.RALLE Coming? - 26th Nov

The upcoming Mahindra BE model draws clear inspiration from the bold, rugged Rall-E concept and is scheduled to make its official debut alongside the new seven-seater XEV 9S on November 26.

Mahindra's electric ambitions are revving up again, this time with a fresh teaser for the production-ready BE Rall-E, the off-road warrior that's been whispering promises of adventure since its concept bow in 2023. Dropped on social channels today, the clip offers the clearest look yet at this rugged EV, confirming its world premiere on November 26 at the Scream Electric event—right on the one-year mark since the Mahinda BE 6 and Mahindra XEV 9e hit the scene.

Fans of the original Rall-E concept, which lit up Mahindra's EV Fashion Festival in Hyderabad two years back, will spot the family resemblance immediately. The production version dials in that same aggressive edge, but with refinements that scream real-world readiness. It's all about blending high-voltage thrills with trail-taming grit, and if the hints are any guide, this could redefine what an electric off-roader feels like on Indian roads.

Teaser Highlights: Design That's Built to Conquer

The teaser provides a sneak peek at the front and rear of the forthcoming e-SUV, incorporating the scooped bonnet and distinctive eyebrow-style LED DRLs from the BE 6's entry-level Pack One Above trim. Setting it apart are the circular enclosures for the projector LED headlights—echoing the original BE Rall-E concept—and a beefier front bash plate that's noticeably more substantial than the one on the existing BE 6.

From the side, the production Rall-E stays remarkably faithful to the concept’s dramatic silhouette, retaining the sharp creases and steeply raked roofline. The biggest changes are practical: the concept’s rugged steel wheels have been swapped for sleek, star-pattern aero alloys, and the roof-mounted expedition carrier seen on the original show car appears to have been dropped for the road-going version.

Some observations from the teaser,

1. C-Shaped DRLs at the front and back give way to a single line DRLs

2. The round headlamps

3. Similar wheels to the Batman edition

4. 360-degree camera protrusions are visible as well

Expected Features

Mahindra has kept the powertrain details under wraps for now, but the Rall-E is widely expected to share its core hardware with the BE 6. That means buyers should get the same choice of 59kWh or 79kWh battery packs (delivering up to 683 km of ARAI-certified range) and either the 231 hp or 286 hp rear-mounted electric motor in RWD configuration. A dual-motor AWD variant is also likely to join the lineup later.

Expect the BE Rall-E to come loaded with premium kit such as powered and ventilated front seats, an augmented-reality head-up display, a driver-facing camera that doubles for monitoring and video calls, a 360-degree parking camera, a hands-free powered tailgate, and safety coverage of up to seven airbags.
