Maruti Suzuki has announced the price of the base variant of the upcoming electric vehicle eVitara. The EV is priced at ₹10.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) with the Battery-as-a-Service rental. Fixed price and terms and conditions for all variants is awaited.
Maruti Suzuki has today revealed the price of the entry variant of its upcoming electric vehicle eVitara. The base variant which is named Delta will be available at ₹10.99 Lakh with an additional ₹3.99 per kilometer as battery rental. The battery rental will assume a minimum of 60 kilometers a day which translates to ~₹7200 per month minimum. The electric SUV was showcased in January 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
Maruti is yet to officially announce the variant wise fixed pricing for all variants. They did however inadvertently leaked the price of the top variant (₹24.79 Lakh), Alpha, on their official website. The terms and conditions of the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme are yet to be announced as well. They did mention
The scheme is available for personal use only and is subject to approval by finance companies, banks, or NBFCs. It excludes government levies such as road tax, insurance, TCS, and other applicable charges.

The Maruti eVitara which is based on a pure electric “Hearect -e Platform” will offer 8 years warranty on the battery, 3 years for the vehicle( additional 5 years on paid basis). Customers will be eligible for 60% offer. The terms for these are undisclosed. Maruti is also offering complimentary home charger and installation worth ₹50,000. The configuration of the charger has not been revealed yet. They will also offer a complimentary 1 year free charging. As per sources, this will be at their in-house charging stations which can be accessed by their e4me mobile application.
eVitara Specifications
Maruti Suzuki will offer the eVitara in 3 variants; Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.. The electric vehicle is available with two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The Delta variant comes with the smaller battery pack, while the Zeta and Alpha variants are equipped with the 61 kWh battery. These battery packs contain the BYD Blade cells.Both versions are front wheel drives. The 49 kWh version offers 144 bhp max power and 189 Nm of peak torque, while the 61 kWh version produces 174 bhp max power and 189 Nm of torque. The former offers a claimed ARAI driving range of 440 km, whereas the 61 kWh battery delivers an ARAI claimed range of 543 km.
