Tata Harrier EV Fearless+ QWD 75 Launched at ₹26.49 Lakh – Full Comparison with Empowered QWD

Tata introduces dual-motor QWD in the Harrier EV Fearless+ trim at just ₹26.49 lakh. See how it stacks up against the ₹28.99 lakh Empowered QWD – features, performance and what you miss.

Tata.ev has quietly dropped the price barrier for proper dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive performance in its flagship electric SUV. On March 21, 2026, the company introduced the new Fearless+ QWD 75 persona for the Harrier.ev, priced at ₹26.49 lakh ex-showroom. This variant brings the same 504 Nm torque and 6.3-second 0-100 kmph sprint as the top trims, but at a price that undercuts the previous QWD entry point by over ₹2.5 lakh. In December 2025, Electree had exclusively broken the news of 2 Fearless+ QWD units being registered in Telangana State.

Built on the acti.ev+ platform, the Fearless+ QWD 75 gets the full dual-motor setup with six terrain modes, Off-Road Assist and Boost Mode. Real-world users have already pushed Harrier EV across tough stretches, with the company noting that over 13,000 units delivered in just six months have collectively covered more than 100,000 km across India. The move clearly targets buyers who want serious off-road capability and supercar-like acceleration without stepping into the top-spec Empowered range.

Feature-wise, the new variant doesn’t feel stripped down. It comes with 6-way powered driver seat with memory, 4-way powered co-driver seat, front ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, JBL Black 10-speaker audio system, R19 alloys, voice-assisted dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, rear-row comfort headrests and rear sunshades. Safety remains top-tier with the same 5-star Bharat NCAP rating with 7 airbags and unlimited lifetime battery warranty (15 years for the first owner). A fresh Seaweed Green exterior shade has also been added across the lineup.

How Fearless+ QWD 75 Compares to Empowered+ QWD 75

The new Fearless+ QWD 75 sits just below the Empowered 75 QWD (₹28.99 lakh), creating a clear value proposition. Here’s what you actually get (or miss) when you step down from the top trim, based on the official variant details:

  • Price difference: ₹2.50 lakh lower for the Fearless+
  • Powertrain & Performance: Identical – 75 kWh battery, 504 Nm torque, 6.3 sec 0-100 kmph, QWD, 622 km ARAI range, same 120 kW DC charging (20-80% in 25 min)
  • Drive modes & off-road: Both offer Off-Road Assist and Boost Mode but empowered also offers Bejeweled Terrain Mode Selector Knob.
  • Seats & comfort: Both have 6-way powered driver seat (with memory on Fearless+), 4-way co-driver, front ventilated seats and rear sunshades. Empowered adds powered boss mode.
  • Infotainment & audio: Empowered trim offers 14.53 inch infotainment system with Dolby Atmos whereas Fearless+ offers 12.3 inch 10 speaker Harmon Kardon music system.

Key missing in Fearless+: ADAS, hands-free tailgate, Digi Access digital key with UWB, and multi-mood ambient lighting with more zone and 540° View.

In short, the Fearless+ QWD 75 gives you 95% of the Empowered experience for noticeably less money. With this launch Tata has made true dual-motor performance more reachable, especially for buyers who already love the Harrier.ev’s real-world capability. Bookings are open now, and deliveries are expected to start soon.
